Packchong-1 is a variety of Napier grass that was developed by Kasetsart University in Thailand. Napier grass is a tall, perennial tropical grass commonly used for livestock feed as well as for bioenergy production. The team Samvrudhi Biologicals bred Packchong-1 specifically for its high biomass yield, and its suitability for feedstock production and biogas generation.

Samvrudhi biologicals operates feedstock managements in two ways.
1. Cultivating: Cultivating on lease / rented lands,
2. Contract farming: buy back arrangement with farmer
